Guy#45: Mr. “BET, MTV, ESPN and X-Box”
I tell you, it’s so, so, sad...
There are just far too many brothas, so-called grown ass men who spent the majority of their time, wasting time, watching BET, MTV, ESPN and playing X-Box all day and all night long! What the hell is going on??
This kind of guy is as common as sistas who walk around trying to fool everybody that their long flowing hair ain’t a weave! Homie is just like your son or your little brotha! He sits around all day watching music videos, corny-ass reality shows, sports highlights and playing video games! He should be the spokesman for cable television. He loves to sit on the couch or in his favorite chair flipping through the channels. His favorite tool is not his dick (like Mr. Playa, Playa) but the TV remote control (and the joystick to his video game system).
The guy is childish. He’s immature, has never grown up and never wants to grow up because he’s having way too much fun! It doesn’t seem to concern him one bit that he’s always broke (much of his small income going toward video games, etc.), can’t keep a job (or has a dead-end job) and basically has no future. He’s not focus on what he’s going to do with the rest of his life but he is focused on 50 Cent’s newest video, who won the basketball game last night or beating his loser friends at Madden football video game!
Don’t even get me started on his friends! They are all just like this fool! Every last one of them! Idiots stick together and this guy is always with his friends, rotating between their girls’ cribs and your place watching cable and playing video games!
Guys that fit this profile tend to not to be outgoing because they spend so much time in the house watching television and playing video games. They avoid responsibility and can quickly become downright lazy. You can guarantee that he will neglect the relationship, hardly ever carrying on an adult conversation or spending quality time with you.
He identifies more with other grown-up losers and teenagers than he does with responsible adults. He’s the kind of guy who is just too caught up in what I call a “pop culture perspective”. He finds the world of television, movies, music and video games exciting and looks at the real world as much too serious. Yeah, he doesn’t have time to get caught up in boring and stressful aspects of life like paying bills, raising kids, etc.
So, if you’re involved with Mr. “BET, MTV, ESPN and X-Box” (you’re dating a kid not a man) and you think one day you might actually marry this guy....
